Enable Search
Enabling the Motive search layer allows it to be displayed in your shop when shoppers interact with your search element. This is a required step when installing Motive.
Click Settings > Search in the left-side menu to access the Search page.

If the search layer is inactive in your shop, you may also access the Search page by clicking Activate search layer at the top of the Playboard.
To activate the search layer, do the following:
- In the Search layer activation screen, click the search element of your shop (the part of your shop where users click to start searching) and click Continue.
- Click the search element of your shop in mobile version.
- Click Save.
- An Activate the search layer toggle will be automatically switched on.
If you can’t select your search element, you can also select it manually.
